1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Pixelpuffin.net is operated by Puffin Universe Limited, Hong Kong (“Pixelpuffin”, “we”, “us”). This policy brings together our terms of sale, privacy information and refund rules for all digital products sold through Pixelpuffin, including PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, PC games and software licenses.
The product listing describes the license or access supplied, platform, region, device requirements and any specific activation conditions. Check these details before ordering. Publisher and platform rules also apply to use of their products. We do not claim affiliation with a publisher unless stated.
2. Orders, payment and digital delivery
The checkout shows the payable amount and selected currency before you pay. Your payment provider may apply its own conversion or other charges. Use accurate contact and billing details so we can process your order, check payment and provide support.
PC software and game licenses are normally delivered immediately after successful payment. Console products are normally available immediately or shortly afterwards; exceptional delays may take hours or, rarely, several days. All delivery is digital through your customer account and the supplied instructions. We do not ship physical goods.
Keep your account, sign-in links and delivered license details secure. Do not share activation information or change supplied account settings contrary to the product’s instructions. If delivery is delayed or you cannot access your order, contact us.
3. Replacement warranties
- Console games: PlayStation, Nintendo and Xbox games include a six-month (180-day) replacement warranty. If a covered game develops an issue within 180 days and was set up correctly, we will supply a free replacement.
- PC licenses: PC software and activation licenses include a lifetime replacement warranty. If a covered license develops an issue, contact us for a free replacement.
These commercial warranties are additional to your mandatory legal rights. They do not replace or shorten rights to a remedy for defective, incorrect or undelivered products.
4. PlayStation setup and compatibility
Activate and complete setup of PSN products within 24 hours of delivery, with your console available. Report initial delivery or setup problems within that period so we can investigate promptly. This initial reporting period does not shorten the 180-day warranty or any mandatory legal claim period.
Some extra downloadable content, including cosmetics and microtransactions, may be incompatible with your account region. Story and map packs generally work, but check the product and platform requirements before purchasing.
5. Refunds, replacements and cancellation
Digital licenses cannot normally be returned for a change of mind after they have been revealed, delivered or successfully activated. This general rule is subject to the remedies below and your mandatory legal rights.
- If a license is invalid or does not work and we cannot provide a valid replacement, you are entitled to a full refund.
- If we deliver the wrong product, we will supply the correct product or a full refund.
- If a delivered license was already used, we will provide a replacement or a refund.
- If we cannot deliver within a reasonable time, contact us for a refund or an agreed replacement of equal or higher value.
Successful activation, a change of mind after disclosure, or an incompatibility with clearly stated regional requirements does not normally qualify for a voluntary refund. This does not exclude a claim where our product information was inaccurate or the law provides a remedy. We may approve additional refunds or replacements case by case.
For ordinary refund requests, contact us within 14 days of purchase with your order number and a description of the issue. This request window does not limit the warranties above or statutory deadlines. We aim to respond within 24 hours. Approved refunds are processed within 3–5 business days to the original payment method; your provider may need additional time to credit them.
Where the law gives you a withdrawal or cancellation right for digital content, it is lost only if the applicable legal requirements, including any required express consent and acknowledgement, are met. Accepting this policy alone does not waive that right.
6. Fair use, intellectual property and responsibility
Do not resell or commercially exploit licenses without our written permission, scrape the site or use unauthorized automated tools, place fraudulent orders or abuse payment disputes. This does not prevent a good-faith exercise of your legal rights.
Our website content belongs to us or our content suppliers. Games, software and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Buying a digital license does not transfer their intellectual property to you.
We can help with delivery and license issues. Game performance, third-party outages and platform features may require assistance from the publisher or platform. To the extent permitted by law, our contractual liability for a purchase is limited to the amount paid for that product. Nothing in this policy excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Personal information we collect
We collect information you provide when ordering, using your account or contacting support: your name, contact and billing details, order history, payment references, delivery and activation records, and support correspondence. Account security information may include sign-in verification records and, where used, password hashes. Website use can also generate IP addresses, device and browser information, referral information, cookies and security logs.
Payments are handled through external payment providers. We use payment status, transaction references and relevant billing information to process orders and resolve issues. Card details entered in a payment provider’s interface are handled by that provider. Do not send full card numbers or card security codes through email or support chat.
8. Why we use information and who receives it
We use information to process payment, deliver products, manage accounts, send order and service messages, provide support, prevent fraud, maintain security, improve the website and meet legal obligations. Promotional messages, if offered, are sent according to your marketing choices; you can ask us to stop them.
Where applicable, processing is based on performing our contract with you, legal obligations, legitimate business interests such as security and service improvement, or consent where required. We do not sell personal information.
We share relevant information with payment, hosting, security, email and support providers and, where used, analytics or marketing providers. We may also disclose information where legally required or necessary to establish or defend legal claims. Providers may process data outside your country, including Hong Kong. Contact us for information about relevant recipients and transfer safeguards.
9. Cookies, retention and security
Cookies and similar storage support functions such as sign-in, shopping carts, security and language or currency preferences. Analytics or advertising technologies, where used, can measure visits and referrals. Non-essential technologies are subject to applicable consent requirements. Browser settings let you manage or delete cookies; blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the store from working.
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for its purpose, including order support, fraud prevention and any required accounting, tax or legal retention. Some records may need to remain after an account-deletion request because the law requires them or a dispute is unresolved.
We use safeguards intended to protect personal information and secure connections for our website. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your devices and sign-in details protected.
10. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or complain to the relevant data-protection authority. Contact us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity and explain any lawful limit on the request.
11. Applicable law and policy updates
These terms are governed by Hong Kong law, subject to any mandatory consumer protections and rights to bring a claim in a competent court that apply where you live. The policy in force when you place an order governs that order. We may update this page for future orders or changes to our practices; the update date appears above. A privacy-policy update does not itself supply consent where the law requires it.
12. Contact and support
For orders, warranties, refunds or privacy requests, contact [email protected], call +1 202 577 4765, or use our support helpdesk. Include your order number when relevant. Use the activation instructions supplied with your purchase and the official Pixelpuffin redemption portal where instructed.
